My inspiration for this collection is about fungi.  The reason I choose this theme is because I want to show some of the distinct details that fungi have.  "They are important organisms and so different from plants and animals that they have been allocated a 'kingdom' of their own in our classifications of life on earth."

I was inspired mostly by Trametes versicolor, a polypore mushroom which means "of several colors", and the textures and shapes of different mushrooms.  Trametes versicolor also known as Coriolus versicolor displays different colors and have several layers on top of each others.  I incorporated some of those elements in my pieces.
